Allergy and Asthma Treatment Must Include a Clean Home Environment

Any allergy or asthma treatment must consider that indoor air pollution may be causing or contributing to your problem.

Anything that decreases the freshness and overall quality of indoor air quality is a potential contributor to problems like allergies and asthma. Dust, dust mites, molds, pets, pollen, vermin and Volatile Organic Compounds are all elements that can be problematic. Some good ideas to consider are using a good air purifier, keeping pets away from sleeping areas and frequently washing all bedding. That steam coming out of your dishwasher is highly toxic. Don't breath it. Detergents like this are so toxic that they can even burn the esophagus. It is an unfortunate fact that most of our commonly used household cleaning products are dangerous and may worsen allergy and asthma symptoms.

Luckily, there are alternative cleaning products that are safe and non-toxic. These products will not produce VOC's, and will not cause significant harm if accidentally ingested. Best of all there is little price difference between these toxic cleaning products and their safer alternatives. Using these toxic free products actually helps the environment.

When you switch to safer green alternative household products, you will likely see a rapid decrease in your allergy and asthma symptoms. Your body will no longer have to fight these toxic chemicals that pollute the home environment.
